✝️ Johnny & Janet Collection ✝️ (Copy)

A tribute collection celebrating the life, ministry, love story, and legacy of Dr. Johnny and Janet Hunt. Pastor Johnny was the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Woodstock, GA for 33 years - with Ms. Janet by his side for almost 60 years now! I have known Johnny and Janet since I was 14 years old. Now 53, I felt Inspired to write these songs in honor of them - not only for their genuine love for the ministry and the Lord but, even more importantly, their love and devotion to each other, their family, their church family and anyone who has ever been honored enough to be up close and personal with them.

Originally, I wrote “From the Poolroom to the Pulpit” because I love a good, soul gospel choir - and I knew Johnny did, too. But then I thought there may be some folks who would prefer a more Southern Gospel sound. So I wrote “Look What Grace Can Do.” However, after chatting with Johnny about them, he mentioned that there had been a few people who had requested a country version. Thus, was the birth of “Somebody God Could Use.” 

I genuinely hope that you enjoy these three versions inspired by these two incredible people, who are beloved by thousands around the world!
